In-Person Educator Convening from October 22-23, 2026.
You’re invited to iCivics’ California Educator Convening! Join us for two days of free community-building and professional development in civics and media & information literacy.
What You Can Expect
This in-person gathering will bring together practitioners working with iCivics to provide professional development and community-building opportunities with fellow educators across California.
Attendees will leave the convening with a deeper understanding of iCivics instructional resources, implementation strategies, and a community of colleagues who share your passion for civic teaching.
This in-person convening is completely free. A limited number of K-12 teachers will receive a travel stipend (based on distance) and certification of professional development hours. Hotel accommodations are also available.
