Our Chief Policy and Advocacy Officer, Shawn Healy, will speak at the TN Civics Academy, a premier annual collaborative conference for K–12 government, history, and social science teachers. The conference convenes in Knoxville on the evening of June 23, followed by a two-day session. The conference will include UT scholar presentations, workshops, educator panel discussions, and educational resources.
Shawn will speak at the following sessions:
- The State of Civic Education with Dr. Shawn Healy of iCivics (2:15–2:45 p.m.)
- Educator Leader Panel Discussion: Teaching and Inspiring Understanding of the Branches of Government (2:45–3:15 p.m.)
